About Martin Elsass
A graduate of the Universal Technical Institute, Martin J. Elsass is ASE, MOOG, M.A.C.S. and D.O.T. certified. He owns and operates not one, but three small businesses:
Youngstown Tune Ups, LLC, a local company based in Columbiana, Ohio started when Martin was still in high school as an automotive tune-up business, transitioned into an efficiency consultant and management retraining firm.
Independent Artist Group, LLC was formed in 2000 to do musician and songwriter advocacy.
IndieMafia Records, LLC came shortly after as a means to record and release records from songwriters who didn't ffit the demographics of major record labels.
In 2005 the first CD to be released by IndieMafia Records, "Heroes, Friends and Other Troubled Souls" by Billy Don Burns reached #14 on the Radio & Records Magazine Top 100 Americana Albums chart.
Elsass has a passion for music and has sixteen years worth of experience in the music industry. He exhibits his broad variety of skills through his diverse portfolio of occupations within the music industry, which include several management, sales, and public relations positions.
In 2009, as a consequence of the bailouts of the banks by Congress and the President, Mr. Elsass lost his employment with a Nashville based Entertainer Bus company. In response, Martin filed for ballot access as the 2010 Libertarian candidate for US House of Representative in Ohio's 6th District.
